Rules

General

  • Cook at least 3 main dishes typical of your country.
  • Main dishes only, no desserts.
  • Have a food scale and measuring cup.
  • Smartphone only, no studio lighting.
  • Tap the food on screen to focus on the food, not the background.
  • No blurry, overexposed, or underexposed images.
  • Subject fully in frame.
  • Non-packaged, real-world food only.
  • One dish per photo, no side dishes in the photo or ingredient list.

Ingredients

  • Peel first: garlic, onions, potatoes, carrots, ginger.
  • Weigh only the edible part. Crack eggs into a bowl. No shells, stems, or waste.
  • One ingredient per row. Use exact names — no "Garnish", no "seasoning powder", no combos.
  • List everything in the dish — including water, salt, and oil.

Weights

  • Weigh each ingredient individually on the scale, one at a time.
  • All water and liquids must be weighed on the scale — water, oil, milk, broth, sauces. Weigh in a container with the container weight removed (tare). Never measure liquids by volume (no cups or spoons). Same for dry ingredients — never use measuring cups.
  • Take photo with ingredient on scale with scale weight clearly visible.
  • Then take a second, separate photo of the same ingredient off the scale. This must be a new photo taken with your camera — cropped or edited copies are not accepted.
  • Enter the exact weight of every ingredient, in grams.
  • Weigh during meal prep, not estimated after.
  • Tare before every weigh. The scale must show only the ingredient's weight — never 0, never with the container.
  • Put the plate, bowl, or measuring cup on the scale and select to remove that weight (tare). Then add the ingredient.

Completed dish

  • Weigh the full finished recipe in the bowl or pot.
  • Remove one serving and record its weight.
  • Take a photo of the whole finished dish (multi serving). Take it off the scale, with no scale visible in the photo.
  • Take a separate photo of the single serving. Also off the scale, with no scale visible in the photo.
  • Video MUST be of the single serving plate. Record 3 to 5 seconds of the plated single serving only — not the whole dish.
  • Record the number of servings in the whole dish.
  • The single-serving photo and full-recipe photo must be different photos.
  • Every main ingredient must be visible in the full-recipe photo and video.

Distribution Rights, Content Assignment, and Likeness Consent Agreement

This Distribution Rights, Content Assignment, and Likeness Consent Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Real.Photos, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "Real.Photos"), a Delaware corporation, and the undersigned creator ("Contractor," "you").

This Agreement governs all photographic, video, and other media content created via the Real.Photos platform or uploaded from your personal collection (collectively, the "Content").

Acknowledgment of Identifiable Face Use in AI Training

Contractor acknowledges that they understand and agree that images containing their face or the faces of others may be used in unblurred, fully identifiable form to train artificial intelligence systems, including systems capable of recognizing or reproducing human identity.

1. Assignment of Ownership

1.1 Full Assignment. Contractor hereby irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Company all right, title, and interest worldwide in and to the Content, including without limitation: all copyrights and neighboring rights; all rights of reproduction, distribution, public display, public performance, modification, adaptation, translation, transformation, and preparation of derivative works; all rights to sublicense, sell, assign, transfer, commercialize, or otherwise exploit the Content; and all rights to use the Content for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data training purposes, whether commercial or non-commercial. This assignment applies in perpetuity throughout the world and covers all rights now known or later developed.

1.2 Work Made for Hire. To the extent permitted by law, the Content shall be deemed a work made for hire for Company. If not, all rights are assigned as above.

1.3 Irrevocability. The assignment is irrevocable, perpetual, and unconditional.

2. Immediate Vesting

The assignment is effective immediately upon execution and not conditioned on payment, tax forms, or payout setup. Company may immediately use, license, sell, or distribute the Content.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Rights

Company may use the Content for AI training, datasets, and generative systems.

3.1 Output Similarity Waiver. Contractor waives claims arising from similarity in AI outputs.

4. Derived Data

Company may extract embeddings, biometric identifiers, and derived data and use them independently.

5. Likeness and Biometric Consent

5.1 Contractor Consent. Contractor grants rights to use likeness, facial features, biometric identifiers, and identity characteristics for AI training, facial recognition, and commercial use, including in fully identifiable form.

5.2 Consent for Depicted Individuals. Contractor represents all depicted individuals are 18+ and have provided written consent for: commercial use; AI training; biometric processing; unblurred identifiable face use; and identity recognition and matching.

5.3 Biometric Law Compliance. Contractor represents compliance with biometric laws.

5.4 Waiver. Contractor waives claims related to likeness, biometric use, and identity recognition.

5.5 Explicit Biometric Processing. Company may use unblurred identifiable faces for facial recognition, identity matching, and AI training.

5.6 Consent Records. Contractor must retain and provide consent records.

6. Prior Licensing

Content has not been previously licensed for AI training.

7. Consideration

Payment is full consideration; no royalties unless agreed.

8. Representations

Contractor owns the content, it is not AI-generated, and rights are cleared.

9. Indemnification

Contractor indemnifies Company for claims, including failure to obtain proper consent.

10. Regulatory Adaptation

Company may adapt processing for compliance.

11. Termination and Survival

All rights survive indefinitely.

12. Independent Contractor

No employment relationship.

13. Governing Law

New York law; arbitration in New York.

14. Miscellaneous

Standard clauses including assignment, severability, waiver, liability limits, export control, force majeure, and survival.
